The Sigatoka Bilibili Races
If you visit Fiji during the month of October be sure to head down to the river and see the raft races. Friendly, yet competitive this is a local event and shouldn't be missed.
Sigatoka Hill Fort
Oral history tells how a Tongan prince fleeing his homeland made his way to Fiji to start a new life for himself and his followers. After many struggles the group eventually occupied the Sigatoka Hill Fort where their descendents still live today.
Sigatoka River Valley
Known as 'The Bread Basket of Fiji' for its bountiful yields, this scenic valley is one of the most beautiful on the island of Veti Levu.
The Fiji Museum

The Sigatoka Sand Dunes
This world heritage listed site occupies 650 hectares near the mouth of the Sigatoka River on the Coral Coast. An intensely fragile ecosystem, it also holds the relics of many prehistoric settlements. Evidence of tools, pottery and human remains can be clearly seen amongst the dunes.

Cultural River Cruises
Depart from the Sigatoka jetty for a daytime excursion up-river to a traditional Fijian village. The cruise includes a traditional kava welcoming ceremony and pottery-making demonstration. Head back downriver to Sigatoka Sand Dunes and historic hill fort where you'll enjoy a lovo feast and the opportunity to shop for Fijiian crafts.
Kula Eco Park
The Kula Eco Park is the environmental showplace of the South Pacific. The Park is dedicated to the conservation of Fiji's indigenous flora and fauna and the environmental education of Fiji's children. It has been presented with the "Excellence in Tourism" award for Best Attraction in Fiji a number of times.
