Horse Riding
The Megalong & Kanimbla Valleys are beautiful rural valleys which offers a distinctly different environment to the forested valleys and plateaus of the upper mountains. It's an area of amazing scenery, cool mountain streams and a variety of wildlife. Truly wonderful country to explore on horseback!
Fishing
Wentworth Falls lake is the closest place if you're just out for a bit of fun, but the keen angler would be best heading out towards Lithgow (Lake Lyell) and Oberon. Riverlands Fly Fishing and Fish River Fly Fishing Co know the best places and can tailor a guided package for you. Another 'fishy' option (and great addition to any drive out west) is the Archvale Rainbow Trout Farm.

If you're looking for an experience that is exhiliarating, challenging and amazingly rewarding why not push yourself that little bit further and give one of these a go?
