Sunshine Coast Hinterland
The Sunshine Coast has more national parks than any other region in Queensland. There are seven in total, and they range from large hinterland areas like the Glasshouse Mountains, to coastal paradises like Noosa and the southern fringe of Fraser Island.
Beaches
The Sunshine Coast features beautiful white -sand beaches and mild temperatures year round making it ideal for swimming and surfing. Marcoola Beach is a stone's throw from the resort. Other nearby beaches include Mooloolaba Beach and Coolum Beach.
Hastings Street, Noosa
The centre of Noosa, located along Main Beach is the prime position for some boutique shopping and fine dining. Tall, shady trees line the promenade, which features restaurants, shops and bustling outdoor cafes.
Australia Zoo
Visit the home of the Crocodile Hunter and discover the fantastic interactive wildlife experiences created by Steve Irwin and his family.
Eumundi Markets
Held in the historic town of Eumundi every Wednesday and Saturday, this is one of the biggest arts and crafts markets in Australia with more than 300 stalls as well as music and street theatre.
Aussie World and the Ettamogah Pub
The Aussie World family fun-park is located behind the iconic Ettamogah Pub. Set in beautiful native Australian gardens, Aussie World incorporates over 30 rides and games.
