Ballarat Wildlife Park

Historic Sovereign Hill

At Sovereign Hill you can pan for real gold; see craftsmen at work in traditional 1850s trades; and enjoy a tour of the Red Hill Mine dipicting the discovery of the 69kg Welcome Nugget, the second largest gold nugget ever found. Eureka Stockade Centre
Visitors will experience the tensions and the drama of the Eureka rebellion as they move through a series of galleries using multi-media technology to vividly bring the Eureka story to life. Afterwards visitors may choose to relax in the Stockade Coffee Kiosk, or browse the Eureka Shop for that special souvenir.
